高科技電子業發展的再思考 撰文杜文苓

談到高科技產業，您的第一印象為何？早期多半的回應是低污染高附加價值、科技新貴、股票分紅等等，近期卻有聽眾在第一時間就會回應高污染，差異頗大的回應顯示一般社會大眾對高科技電子業印象可能已經有了明顯的轉移，而這種改變可能也突顯台灣科學園區相關的環境爭議，以及全球電子產品治理典範的移轉，正慢慢影響著人們的想法，衝擊著台灣高科技產業發展的想像。

1.TEAN串連國際力量，協助竹科反焚化爐運動
自2003年引爆爭議的竹科焚化爐，經過一波又一波的運動，終於在2006年1月5日成功遊說立法院通過「竹科污泥焚化爐即日起停止運轉拆遷」的決議。期間，TEAN居中協助自救會居民，撰寫國際連署書，成功尋求SVTC（Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition）、 (GAIA)Global Anti- Incinerator Alliance 等國際團體聲援竹科反焚化爐運動。
